Beautiful Dreamer by Suzy Loudon

Hello crafty friends. Today I'm back sharing with you another layout.
Keep reading for my full process.

To begin with I tore strips of printed tissue paper and stuck it down with Mod Podge. I sealed the entire page before allowing to dry.

I then used Heavy White Gesso through a stencil, moving it around the printed tissue paper area.

Once dry I used Mermaid & Calypso Colour  Artist Inks. Dropping the colour onto my page then giving it a spray with water to move it around, drying as I went.

I added extra colour here & there and also dried it pooling the colour a little.

I wanted to paint some chipboard so I grabbed some Heavy White Gesso and added Mermaid & Calypso Colour Artist Ink & mixed well. I had to add a fair bit to get it to the shade I wanted so only use a small amount of Gesso.

Using Dusty Charcoal Colour Embossing Powder, I embossed some more chipboard.

Then using Bling Colour Embossing Powder I embossed some more chipboard.

To colour my cheesecloth I mixed Mermaid & Calypso Artist Inks once again. Gave it a spray with water then ran my cloth through it, I gave it a quick gentle dry with my heat gun.

I decided to jazz up my metal leaves so I embossed them with Deep Water & Bling  Colour Embossing Powder. After activating the Deep Water I quickly sprinkled some Bling onto it. But be very careful not to touch the metal with your fingers as it gets really hot when heated. Later on I did the same with a metal charm.

I sprayed some flowers in Bling, Deep Water & Dusty Charcoal Colour Shimmer Sprays.

I edged some little word strips with Bling  Colour Paste using my finger.

Assembling all my elements I matted my photo with papers placing cardboard between the layers.
I added some micro beads & gold beads as well as some acetate butterflies. Then I was done.
Here are some close ups.

Thanks for looking.
xxx Suzy
